Delete your account

You can delete your RoomPin account and the personal data tied to it at any time. There are two ways to do it — directly in the app, or by sending us a request. This applies to the RoomPin website at roompin.in and the RoomPin Android app, which share one account.

Option 1 Delete it yourself in RoomPin (fastest)

If you can still sign in:

Open RoomPin and go to your Profile page.
Choose Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately and permanently.

Option 2 Request deletion by email

If you've removed the app or can't sign in, email us and we'll delete your account for you:

Send the request from the email address on your account, or tell us the email or phone number you signed up with, so we can confirm it's really you. We'll verify your request and delete the account — as soon as we can confirm ownership, and in any case within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your account and personal details — name, email address, and phone number.
Your profile photo and all of your listings or search and any photos.
Your saved preferences and unread/inbox state.
Your registered notification (device) tokens, so the app stops sending you push notifications.

What is kept, and why

Conversations you had with other people stay in their chat history, but your side is anonymised — your profile shows as "Deleted user," and your name, email, and phone are gone. This is so the person you spoke with doesn't lose their own conversation record.
A small amount of security and abuse-prevention data (such as audit logs) may be retained for as long as needed to keep RoomPin safe and to meet our legal obligations.

Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted it can't be recovered, and we can't restore your listings, search, or settings. If you only want to take a break, you can pause your listing or search instead of deleting your account.
